Lamb Prices Decline

GOLDTHWAITE —(Nov. 15)— Feeder lambs sold $3-4 lower, slaughter lambs steady, ewes and bucks $4-5 lower, stock ewes steady; stock Angora nannies $2-3 lower, slaughter muttons and billies $2-3 lower, nannies, kids and yearlings $2 lower; stock Spanish nannies fully steady, slaughter nannies mostly steady, muttons steady, billies fully steady, kids and yearlings $4-5 lower. Receipts totaled 4,350 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 55-100 lbs. $81.50-93.50, choice and prime slaughter lambs 90-105 lbs. $75-78, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $25-32, good 2-3 $35.50-36.50, bucks $34.50-37, medium and large 1-2 stock ewes $60-75 per head; stock Barbado ewes $40-49, slaughter lambs 40-70 lbs. $68-77.

Angora goats: good and choice babytooth stock nannies $27.25-28, 30-40 lb. kids $16-24 per head; slaughter muttons and billies 95-115 lbs. $37.50-44.50, fat nannies $35-37.50, kids and yearlings $40-55 lbs. $69-76, thin nannies and muttons $26-30.

Spanish Goats: slaughter kids 15-30 lbs. $14-18 per head, 30-60 lbs. $68-78 cwt., nannies 70-100 lbs., $32-42 per head, muttons 75-115 lbs. $61-78.50 cwt., billies 100-185 lbs. $51-90 per head; stock nannies $35-51 per head, yearlings $30-41.
