LAMPASAS —(Nov. 13)— Feeder steers sold steady to $1 higher, heifers steady to $1 lower, the decline on weights over 600 pounds, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 1791 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $64-75, 400-500 lbs. $62-72.50, 500-600 lbs. $58-67, 600-700 lbs. $58-62.50, 700-800 lbs. $57-62.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $50-59.50, 400-500 lbs. $51-60, replacements $61-64, 500-600 lbs. $50-59, replacements $63-67, 600-700 lbs. $51-55.50, replacements $57-60.50, 700-800 lbs. $51-55.

Slaughter cows: high cutter and boning utility 1-3 $26-30.50, high dressing $31-32.25, breaking utility 2-4 $27.50-30.75, cutter 1-3 $21-27, canner and low cutter $15-23: yield grade 1-2 bulls 1445-1875 lbs. $36-41.50, low dressing 1145-1545 lbs. $30.75-35.
