MARFA —(Nov. 21)— Sixty-five and a half bulls sold at the 42nd annual Highland Hereford Association sale here for an average of $1646.18, and 52 heifers averaged $540.86. Two bulls from the CF Ranch topped the sale at $3000, one going to Cliff Teinert, Long X Ranch, Kent, and the other to Manuel Gonzales, Cuatrocienegas, Coahuila, Mexico. Principal bull buyers were Pitchford Ranch, Guthrie; O6 Ranch, Alpine; Long X Ranch, Kent; Randolph-Keller Ranch, Marathon; and Seven L Ranch, Pyote. Heifers sold to Long X Ranch, CF Ranch and Ritchie Reynolds. |
