Higher After Holiday

GIDDINGS —(Dec. 3)— All cattle prices were higher following the Thanksgiving holiday period, some weights of steers and heifers $2-5 higher, replacement cows and heifers $2-3 higher. Receipts totaled 807 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $65-76, 300-400 lbs. $62-74, 400-500 lbs. $56-65, 500-600 lbs. $53-63, 700-800 lbs. $48-59.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $46.50-56, 300-400 lbs. $50-71, 500-600 lbs. $51-60, 700-800 lbs. $50-52.

Slaughter cows: high yielding $28-38, low yielding $20-22; bulls $38.50-42; stock cows and heifers $35-45.
