PICTURES DON'T LIE, but they can be deceiving. These cows, bulls and juicy calves appear to be standing in good summer grass; a closer look, however, reveals an abundance of annual broomweed, a byproduct of good fall and spring moisture. Even sheep country was covered this year.

Lamb Prices Show Weaker Trend Again
Fat and feeder lamb prices were lower again this week with declines mostly around the two to four dollar mark.
