Vann-Roach Cattle Co., Fort Worth, bought in the Texas Panhandle for November delivery two loads of No. 1 Okie steers to weigh 750 pounds at $77, also three loads of No. 1 Okie and exotic heifers to weigh 700 at $73; for current delivery two loads of No. 1 Okie steers weighing 800 at $74.50 and five loads of No. 1 Okie and exotic heifers weighing 725 at $70; in North Texas for current delivery four loads of No. 1 Okie and exotic cross steers weighing 800 at $75.50.

Ty Jones Cattle Co., Canyon, bought in New Mexico for current delivery 320 No. 1-1½ Okie and crossbred steers weighing 725-750 pounds at $75, also 216 similar heifers weighing 675-700 at $71.

JB Cattle Co., Abilene, sold on a delivered basis to a Colorado buyer one load of No. 1 Okie steers and bulls weighing 450 pounds at $87.91; to Kansas grass two loads of No. 1 Okie steers and bulls weighing 480 at $85.23 and a load of similar steers and bulls weighing 505 at $83.75; to a West Texas feedyard one load of Okie and crossbred steers and bulls weighing 525 at $78.76.

USDA reports 2885 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma range, including: for June 1-15, 1998 delivery medium and large No. 1 reputation steers to weigh 775 pounds at $80; for current delivery medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 450-575 pounds at $85-90, also 650 pounds at $82, 750 pounds at $76.25, and 825 pounds at $74; similar heifers weighing 475 at $75, replacement quality heifers weighing 475-535 at $88-89, and 625-700 pounders at $69-72.
