Co-op Prices Strong
For Felting Wools

OZONA —(Oct. 10)— Producers Marketing Co-op offered 309,000 pounds of wool here with prices reflecting the strong demand for felting style.

Fall shorn lamb wool averaged 78.5 cents grease f.o.b. the warehouse for lengths under 1.25 inches, 92 cents for 1.5 inch and 95 cents for 1.75 inch. Fall shorn ewe wool brought 95 cents to $1.1375 on 124,000 pounds. Ten-month wool of 2.5-2.75 inches sold at $1.10.

Twelve-month original bag wool brought $1.22875. The co-op offered 70,000 pounds of table skirted and classed wool, which brought $2.25-2.76 clean. Clothing was $1.10 grease, crossbred and blackface 62-83 cents, and tags and locks 52 cents.
