Angelo Feeder Lambs,
Cattle Firm To $2 Up

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold firm to $2 higher this week, slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes uneven, mostly weak to $2 lower except utility and good firm to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 10,039 head.

Feeder steers and heifers sold firm to $2 higher last week, slaughter cows and bulls firm, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 7088 head including 3273 replacement females at Monday’s special sale.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $96-103, 60-80 lbs. $94.50-100, few $102-103, 80-90 lbs. $90-95.50, 90-115 lbs. $87-90; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $90-96, 60-80 lbs. $84-94, 80-90 lbs. $80-90.

Slaughter lambs: choice and prime 2-3 shorn and wooled 100-125 lbs. $80-85; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $43-52, utility and good 2-3 $46-56, utility 1-3 $33-46, cull and utility 1-2 $20-33.50; bucks $40-48, few $32-36.

Stock ewes: medium and large 1-2 babytooth $75-83 per head.
