Goats Trade Higher

JUNCTION —(Oct. 20)— Lambs were too limited for a test, slaughter ewes and bucks sold $2 higher; stock Angora nannies and muttons $4-8 lower, slaughter muttons and billies $3-5 lower, kids $3-6 higher, other classes mostly steady; stock Spanish nannies fully steady, slaughter kids, yearlings and muttons $3-6 higher, other classes steady. Receipts totaled 5300 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 50-70 lbs. $90-99, 80-90 lbs. $86.50-88; utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $45-48.50, good 2-3 $51-57, bucks $40-44.

Angora goats; good and choice babytooth to solidmouth stock nannies 50-60 lbs. $42-49, muttons 55-75 lbs. $42-48; slaughter muttons and billies 80-115 lbs. $40-44, extra fat 110-150 lbs. $33-39, fat nannies $37-43.50, kids 30-60 lbs. $65-76.50, thin nannies and muttons $29-36.

Spanish goats: stock nannies $40-52 per head, Boer cross kids and yearlings 45-75 lbs. $80-100 cwt.; slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $72-79.50, yearlings 40-65 lbs. $72-84, nannies 70-105 lbs. $47-54, muttons 75-110 lbs. $70-86, billies 95-150 lbs. $60-65.
