NIXON, Texas —(Oct. 11)— The Shiner Ranch and Partners Brahman and Brahman cross cattle sale averaged $789 on 1123 head.

Five bred registered Brahman heifers averaged $1100, 35 open registered heifers $833.57, 170 bred heifers $880.65, 55 pairs $1020, and 55 Braford pairs $1131.64.

Also, 139 open Brahman heifers made $641.33, 48 open Brangus heifers $587.50, 19 bred tigerstripe heifers $900, 15 exposed tigerstripe heifers $680, 168 bred tigerstripe cows $848.30, 112 Brangus and Brangus baldy cows $706.65, and 114 open F-1 heifers, $630.

In addition, 38 bred Brangus heifers $650, 62 bred Brahman cows $889.92, 40 Brangus baldy heifers $570, 15 exposed Brangus heifers $520, 10 open Braunbray heifers $800, 25 certified F-1 Braunbray weanling heifers $815, and eight horses $1925.
