Max Riley of Roswell is reported to have bought the
Clardy Farms lambs there at $16.50 cwt. These are
Rambouillet feeders, around 1600 head weighing about 72
pounds.

Jim Black of Lovington, New Mexico, sold 147 steer
calves weighing 417 pounds to Coberly and Coberly, Gove,
Kan., at 26 cents per pound; these were delivered
November 5.

John Shirley and Leopold Meyer of Albuquerque are
reported to have bought around 1700 feeder lambs from
Fred Corn of Roswell for delivery this weekend at $17.25
cwt.

Pete Cluck of Gruver, Texas, sold a load of young
crossbred Brahman cows at 15 cents per pound to Carl
Franks of Oklahoma City and delivered them November 6. He
also sold two loads of young cows, a few with calves, at
$160 per head to Greeley, Colorado, buyers for November
15 delivery.

Jay Jones of Goodwell, Okla., bought 140 heifer
yearlings weighing 700 pounds at $19.75 for Jan. 5
delivery from Jack Dettle of Stratford, Texas; these will
be shipped to Iowa feeders.

Elmer Melton of Pampa, Texas, sold 55 mixed calves
weighing 400 pounds to Fred Vanderberg of Pampa, at $23
and $25, delivered this week.

Emory Addington of Elkhart, Kan., bought 208 cows
weighing 905 pounds at $13.50 from Leonard Zielke,
Amarillo, delivered last week.

J.C. Thomas Jr., Plainview, Texas, bought on order 101
Angus stocker cows, three to seven years old, at $157 per
head and received them Nov. 4 from C.M. Dyers ranch
at Clines Corner, N.M. There seven calves on the cows.

Good and choice slaughter lambs were quoted $21 to $22
in Fort Worth, where a few medium to good stocker and
feeder lambs sold from $19 to $20.

Truitt Cattle Co., Amarillo, sold 147 "good
mouth" stocker cows at $180 per head and delivered
them to Waldo Hayworth of Arthur, Neb.

Texas, reports he recently sold 79 registered Hereford
females to Jere C. Caldwell of Danville, Ky., along with
two herd bull prospects.

reports. Shipments of all cattle from Texas to other

of cars of adult mohair spring adult 75 cents per pound
f.o.b. the warehouse and fall hair 72.5 cents. About a
month ago, prices were at 67 cents.
