JOPLIN, Texas —(Nov. 1)— The eighth annual Fall Gatherin’ stock cow sale here averaged $707 on 2984 head of commercial cattle. A total of 299 cows with calves averaged $919 per pair, 1176 bred cows averaged $763 per head, 1033 bred heifers $695, and 476 open heifers $462. Thirty horses sold for an average of $3105 per head. |
