Higher, Lambs Weak

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold weak in a light test this week, slaughter lambs $2-3 lower, slaughter ewes fully steady. Receipts totaled 12,879 head.

Feeder steers and heifers sold firm to $1 higher last week, slaughter cows firm to $1 higher, bulls $2 higher, stock cows and pairs moderately lower. Receipts totaled 5554 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $94-97, 60-80 lbs. $90-97.50, 80-90 lbs. $88-91.50, 90-105 lbs. $81-87; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $83-93, 60-80 lbs. $80-90, 80-90 lbs. $79-88, 90-100 lbs. $78-83.

Slaughter lambs: choice and prime 2-3 shorn and wooled 100-135 lbs. $75-83; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $45-55, utility and good 2-3 $46-56, utility 1-2 $36-46, cull and utility 1-2 $30-36; bucks $42-52.
