Calf Sale Steady, Up

JUNCTION —(Nov. 14)— Good and choice calves sold steady to $2 higher in the special High Dollar Calf and Yearling sale at Junction Stockyards, plain kinds and yearlings steady. Receipts totaled 700 head.

Show and sale results:

Pen of five steers: 1. Holekemp and Holekemp, Junction, five Simmental cross, 783 lbs. $71; 2. James Owens, Iraan, five Simmental cross, 496 lbs. $85.50; 3. Roy Beth Blackburn, Junction, seven black bulls, 571 lbs. $72.

Pen of 10 steers: 1. Holekamp and Holekamp, 10 Simmental cross, 653 lbs. $68.50.

Pen of five heifers: 1. Holekamp and Holekamp, six Simmental cross, 615 lbs. $68.25; 2. Holekamp and Holekamp, seven Simmental cross, 611 lbs. $68; 3. Benny Barker, Harper, five black, 522 lbs. $68.

Pen of 10 heifers: 1. Deanna Whitworth, Junction, 10 Angus, 533 lbs. $70.
