SPRINGFIELD, Mo. —(Nov. 7)— A total of 567 heifers, bred AI or naturally to Angus bulls, averaged $799.14 per head here at the first replacement heifer sale conducted by Holmes Farms Inc. Five black heifers sold to Richard Barton, Liberal, Mo., for $875 per head. Tommy Shrum, Huntsville, Ark., bought 10 black whiteface heifers at $850. Pinegar Limousin commercial division brought 25 heifers for $575. |
