Ty Jones Cattle Co., Canyon, bought in New Mexico for current delivery 280 No. 1 Okie and crossbred steers to weigh 550 pounds at $83, also 230 No. 1 exotic cross steers weighing 750 at $75.

Vann-Roach Cattle Co., Fort Worth, bought in North Texas for current delivery 72 No. 1 English and exotic cross steers weighing 650 pounds at $78; in Northeast Texas three loads of No. 1 crossbred heifers weighing 700 at $71.

USDA reports 300 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma range, including: for current delivery 225 medium and large No. 1 steer yearlings weighing 750-775 pounds at $75-76, also 75 heifer mates weighing 700 at $70.

Direct feeder cattle trade in Montana as confirmed by USDA totaled 380 head. Medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 600-675 pounds brought $82-83, heifer mates weighing 600 pounds $77, all f.o.b. for current delivery.
