Angelo Feeder Lambs
Sell Sharply Lower
SAN ANGELO Feeder lamb prices were around $10
lower than at the last sale before the holidays,
slaughter lambs steady to $2 lower and slaughter ewes
fully steady. Receipts totaled 8182 head.
There was no cattle sale last week due to the holiday.
Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 newcrop 45-50 lbs.
$124-128, 62 lbs. $113; oldcrop 50-60 lbs. $95-101, 60-95
lbs. $91-97, set $98; medium and large No. 2 45-95 lbs.
$85-91.
Slaughter lambs: choice and prime 2-3 shorn and wooled
100-125 lbs. $80-85, 124-140 lbs. $70-80, bulk $74-78,
good and choice shorn and wooled 45-75 lbs. $94-98.
Slaughter ewes: good and choice 2-4 $42-50, set $53,
