GOLDTHWAITE —(March 23)— Feeder lambs sold $3-7 higher, slaughter lambs mostly steady, slaughter ewes $3-5 higher; stock Spanish nannies $2-5 higher, slaughter muttons $3-5 higher, other classes steady to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 4000 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 50-60 lbs. $100-117, 60-80 lbs. $90-103, 80-95 lbs. $80-90, 95-110 lbs. $74-80, oldcrops 80-110 lbs. $68-75; slaughter lambs 100-145 lbs. $63-69; utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $45-55, good 2-3 $42-45; Barbado lambs 30-60 lbs. $82.50-96; medium and large 1-2 babytooth to solidmouth stock ewes $51-62.50 cwt., mixed aged ewes and lambs $51-52.50 per head; young Barbado ewes 60-75 lbs. $56.50-61.50 cwt.

Spanish goats: stock nannies $44-65 per head, nannies and kids $21-35 per head; Boer cross nannies $70-90, billies $125-160; slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $78.50-90 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $86-99, few to $101, nannies 70-125 lbs. $54-65, muttons 80-135 lbs. $67-78, billies 75-150 lbs. $68.50-77.

Angora goats: slaughter kids 40-60 lbs. $75.50-76.50 cwt.
