ABILENE (May 12) Feeder steers and heifers
sold mostly steady except steers 500-600 pounds and
heifers 600-700 pounds $1-2 lower, slaughter cows $1-2
lower, bulls steady, cows with calves steady. Receipts
totaled 3046 head.
Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs.
$106-116, 300-400 lbs. $96-106, 400-500 lbs. $87-97, few
to $106, 500-600 lbs. $79-85, 600-700 lbs. $74-82,
700-800 lbs. $69.50-74, 800-900 lbs. $66.50-73.50.
Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs.
