Goldthwaite Sheep,
Goat Prices Lower

GOLDTHWAITE —(May 6)— Feeder lambs sold $4 lower, slaughter ewes and bucks $8 lower, stock ewes $3 lower; slaughter Angora goats $3 lower; stock Spanish nannies $2-4 lower, slaughter kids and yearlings $4 lower, others mostly steady. Receipts totaled 7300 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 40-80 lbs. $70-78.50, oldcrops 65-90 lbs. $60-69, slaughter lambs 130-140 lbs. $50-55, cull slaughter ewes $25-35, bucks $28-31; medium and large 1-2 babytooth to solidmouth ewes stock ewes $59-78 per head; Barbado ewes 60-65 lbs. $55-59, lambs 35-65 lbs. $65-73.

Angora goats: slaughter muttons and billies 80-100 lbs. $40-43 cwt., fat nannies $35-39, kids and yearlings 45-60 lbs. $68-72, thin nannies and muttons 30-37.

Spanish goats: slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $71-81 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $77-89, nannies 75-125 lbs. $45-57, muttons 75-120 lbs. $65-79, billies 85-165 lbs. $67-85; stock nannies $42-50 per head; Boer cross nannies $95-125 per head, kids $50-80.
