Harold Newman of Fort Worth this week bought through
Roy Harkey of San Angelo, 1056 oldcrop clipped lambs
weighing 82 pounds from Leroy Spires of Snyder at 19
cents a pound and 214 straight four year-old ewes with
lambs from Pete Ainsworth of Colorado City at $14 a pair.

J.T. Trew Cattle Company of Alanreed, Texas, last week
sold two loads of mixed short yearlings averaging 420
pounds at $19 and $20.50 for heifers and steers,
respectively, to Ralph Britten of Groom, Texas.

Mrs. A.B. Burnett of Dumas, Texas, is reported to have
sold, last week, 60 steer yearlings averaging 670 pounds
at $20 to Colorado buyers.

bought 88 heifer yearlings and 114 steer yearlings
averaging about 500 pounds at $130 and $140,
respectively.

Mecaskey, Panhandle, 70 heifers weighing about 650 pounds
at $26 for June 1 delivery.

around 3000 Rambouillet type mutton lambs from a New
Mexico seller for November delivery at 20 cents per
pound.

delivered, last week, 1037 blackface yearling ewes to a
Mr. Cooksey of Tennessee at $21 per head. Also 2000
whiteface yearling ewes to Jap Foster, Kent, Texas, at
$23.50 per head.

yearlings weighing about 550 pounds at $22.
