MILANO —(June 9)— Feeder steers weighing under 500 pounds sold steady, over 500 pounds steady to $2 higher, heifers firm to $2 higher, slaughter cows steady to $1 higher, bulls steady. Receipts totaled 1530 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $89-102.50, 400-500 lbs. $82-86, 500-600 lbs. $76-82, 600-700 lbs. $72-77.50, few $78-79, 700-800 lbs. $68-74, few 800-900 lbs. $66-72.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $77-86, 400-500 lbs. $71.50-77, 500-600 lbs. $70-76, 600-700 lbs. $68-73.50.

Slaughter cows: high cutter and boning utility 1-3 $33.50-38, cutter 1-3 $31-34.50, canner and low cutter $22.50-32.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1150-2000 lbs. $44-49.50, low dressing 1450-1600 lbs. $37-43.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 850-1350 lbs. 3-7 months bred $36-44; medium and large 1-2 young 800-1200 lb. cows with 100-300 lb. calves $560-660 per head.
