CUERO —(June 12)— Feeder steers and heifers sold higher, some sales $2-4 up, slaughter cows and bulls $2-3 higher. Receipts totaled 1588 head. Feeder steers: weights under 200 lbs. $106-117, 200-250 lbs. $96-116, 250-350 lbs. $83-106, 350-400 lbs. $80-92, 400-450 lbs. $79-84, 450-500 lbs. $75-81, 500-600 lbs. $73-79, 600-700 lbs. $62-72, over 700 lbs. $62-68. Feeder heifers: weights under 250 lbs. $81-100, 250-350 lbs. $72-86, 350-500 lbs. $67-78, 500-600 lbs. $62-69, 600-700 lbs. $62-70. Slaughter cows: high yielding $37.50-42.50, boning cutter and utility $35.50-37, cutter $31-35.50, canner and low cutter $24-31; bulls $49-51.50; bred stock cows $30-33.50, heifers $36-42.50. |
