Lambs Still Trend Up

GOLDTHWAITE —(June 12)— Feeder lambs sold $3-6 higher, slaughter ewes and bucks $2 lower; stock Spanish nanny goats $8-10 higher, slaughter nannies steady; slaughter Angora goats steady to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 6900 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 50-70 lbs. $89-100, 75-100 lbs. $90-105, oldcrops 80-140 lbs. $88-90; slaughter lambs 95-135 lbs. $90-102, good 2-3 slaughter ewes $32-37, utility 2-3 $26-30, cull $22-25, bucks $29-31; Barbado lambs 40-50 lbs. $65-70.

Angora goats: slaughter muttons and billies 80-115 lbs. $40-46 cwt., nannies 75-90 lbs. $36.50-40, thin nannies and muttons $27-34.

Spanish goats: slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $64-68 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $65-79, nannies 70-120 lbs. $41-50, muttons 75-110 lbs. $67-84, billies 90-200 lbs. $57-70; stock nannies $40-60 per head, Boer cross nannies $70-120, kids $45-85, billies 130-185 lbs. $70-86.
