JB Cattle Co., Abilene, sold on a delivered basis to Kansas grass one load of No. 1 Okie steers weighing 614 pounds at $78.40, also one load of No. 1 Okie heifers weighing 450 at $76.93, and a load of No. 1 cutting bulls weighing 700 at $65.70; to Missouri grass one load of No. 1 Okie heifers weighing 375 at $77.59; to Oklahoma grass a load of No. 1 steers weighing 588 at $77.02.

Vann-Roach Cattle Co., Fort Worth, bought in Southeast Texas for current delivery 166 Brangus steers weighing 700 pounds at $69; in West Texas for October delivery 1340 No. 1 exotic cross steers to weigh 700 at a price even with the futures board.

Brown Cattle Co., Clyde, sold to a West Texas feedyard one load of No. 1 Okie and crossbred steers and bulls weighing 377 pounds at $85.10 delivered; to a Kansas buyer one load of No. 1 and better Okie steers with a few bulls, weighing 498 at $75.85 f.o.b. Clyde.

USDA reports 4320 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma range, including: for July 15 through Aug. 1 delivery medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh 600 pounds at $76, also similar heifers to weigh 575 at $72; for current delivery similar steers weighing 785 at $73, 800-875 pounds at $67-71, and a few weighing 900 pounds at $65; similar heifers weighing 700-725 at $68.

Direct feeder cattle trade in the Northwest as confirmed by USDA totaled 400 head. Medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 850 pounds brought $69.50 and heifer mates weighing 750 pounds $66.50, all delivered basis in Washington.
