Goat Prices Higher

JUNCTION —(June 22)— Feeder lambs were not well tested, slaughter ewes and bucks steady; slaughter Angora goats $2-4 higher; stock Spanish nannies $2 higher, slaughter classes steady to $2 lower. Receipts totaled 5500 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs few 55-70 lbs. $88-89.50, oldcrops 75-95 lbs. $85-89.50; utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $27-30, good 2-3 $40-44, bucks $25-35; Barbado lambs 75-110 lbs. $54-59 cwt.

Angora goats: good and choice babytooth to solidmouth stock nannies 50-65 lbs. $42.50-51 cwt., slaughter muttons and billies 90-110 lbs. $42-50, nannies 65-85 lbs. $38-47, thin nannies and muttons $34-37.

Spanish goats: slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $62-68 cwt., yearlings 35-65 lbs. $65-77.50, nannies 75-110 lbs. $38-47, muttons 70-105 lbs. $75-88, billies 90-200 lbs. $55-68, some 75-95 lbs. $68-77; stock nannies $32-44 per head.
