mostly heifers with a few mixed steers and bulls weighing

per head; to a New Mexico buyer one load of fancy Okie
and quarter-cross heifers weighing 475 at $77.64; to a

USDA reports 5130 head of feeder steers and heifers
selling direct off Oklahoma range, all for current
delivery, including: medium and large No. 1 steers
weighing 725-775 pounds at $69.50-73, 800-825 pounds
$69-70.95, 875-900 pounds $64-66.50; similar heifers
weighing 525 pounds at $70, 650-685 pounds $68-69.50, and
700-750 pounds $66-68.
Direct feeder cattle trade in the Northwest as
confirmed by USDA totaled 1350 head. Medium and large No.
1 steers weighing 850-900 pounds brought $65-68 f.o.b.
Washington and Idaho; similar heifers weighing 850 pounds
were $65 f.o.b. Idaho.
