ABILENE —(July 14)— Feeder steers sold steady to $1 lower, heifers $2-3 lower, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 lower, cows with calves mostly steady.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $94-103, 300-400 lbs. $85-94, 400-500 lbs. $75-82, 500-600 lbs. $69-76.50, 600-700 lbs. $67-73.50, 700-800 lbs. $65-68.50, 800-900 lbs. $61-63.50.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $70-76, 400-600 lbs. $66-70, 600-700 lbs. $65-69, 700-800 lbs. $61.50-66, 800-900 lbs. $58-62.

Slaughter cows: breakers $30-31.50, boners $33-36, high yielding $36.50-38, lean $29-36, shelly $21-27; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1400-2450 lbs. $42.50-48, high dressing 1500-2100 lbs. $49-50, 1000-1400 lbs. $40-42.

Stock cows: young 900-1200 lb. cows with 75-200 lb. calves $565-610 per pair, aged 1100-1300 lb. cows with 100-200 lb. calves $425-560.
