LAMPASAS —(July 8)— Feeder steers sold steady, heifers steady to $2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 861 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $8a4-94, 400-500 lbs. $74-84, few $87-90, package $95.50, 500-600 lbs. $75.50, 600-700 lbs. $67-71.50.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 400-500 lbs. $63-73,50, 500-600 lbs. $62.50-68, 600-700 lbs. $62-67.50.

Slaughter cows: high cutter and boning utility 1-3 $31-36, high dressing $36-38.50, breaking utility 2-4 $32.50-35.50, cutter 1-3 $30-34.75, canner and low cutter $26-31; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1400-2100 lbs. $47-51.75.

Stock cows: young 900-1100 lbs. 5-7 months bred $41.50-46.50, aged 1050-1200 lbs. 4-7 months bred $35-38; young 700-850 lb. cows with 175-250 lb. calves $550-640 per pair, aged 950-1200 lb. cows with 175-250 lb. calves $575-600.
