Goldthwaite Lambs Up,
Most Goats Much Lower

GOLDTHWAITE —(July 17)— Feeder lambs sold steady to $5 higher, slaughter ewes and bucks $5-8 lower; slaughter Angora goats $6-8 lower; stock Spanish nannies steady, slaughter kids $5 lower, nannies and muttons steady, billies 2-5 lower. Receipts totaled 5000 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 55-70 lbs. $76.50-80, 70-90 lbs. $76-87; good 2-3 slaughter ewes $28.50-38, utility 2-3 $22-28, bucks $25-29; Barbado ewes 60-80 lbs. $30-40, bucks $42-50.

Angora goats: slaughter muttons and billies 75-90 lbs. $35-37 cwt., nannies 55-70 lbs. $37, thin nannies and muttons $22-32.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 25-40 lbs. $55-65 cwt., 40-65 lbs. $62-71, few to $76, nannies 80-120 lbs. $34-45, few to $49, muttons 75-135 lbs. $60-71, billies 80-180 lbs. $52-67; young stock nannies $32-42 per head.
