Goldthwaite Lambs Off,
Angora Goats Steady

GOLDTHWAITE —(July 24)— Feeder lambs sold $5-8 lower, slaughter ewes and bucks steady to $2 lower; stock Spanish nannies $2-5 lower, slaughter kids steady to $2 lower, muttons $6-10 lower, billies steady; few slaughter Angora nannies and muttons steady. Receipts totaled 4500 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 55-85 lbs. lambs $68-78.50; utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $20-28, good 2-3 $28-36, bucks $19-29.50; stock Barbado ewes 60-80 lbs. $23-33, bucks $40-57, lambs 35-65 lbs. $56-63, slaughter ewes $33-46.50.

Angora goats: babytooth stock nannies $31.50-37 cwt., muttons $31-37.50, kids 35-50 lbs. $52.50-58; few thin slaughter muttons and nannies $25-34.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $55-61 cwt., 40-65 lbs. $60-68, few to $70, nannies 80-120 lbs. $40-51, muttons 85-130 lbs. $52.50-63, billies 85-190 lbs. $55-68; young stock nannies $31-37 per head, Boer cross nannies $52.50-90.
