KERRVILLE — The Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association elected new officers during their recent annual convention here. TS&GRA president for 1998-99 is Dr. Carl S. Menzies, retired resident director of the Texas A&M Research and Extension Center at San Angelo. A Menard native, Menzies still operates the family ranch where he was raised. Mike Jernigan, Pecos County rancher, succeeded Menzies as first vice president, and Jule Richmond, who ranches in Brown and Comanche counties, took Jernigan’s place as second vice president. |
