Oklahoma buyers one load of English steers and bulls
weighing 387 pounds at $82.54, also three loads of No. 1
English steers weighing 455 at $77.87 f.o.b.; to Kansas
buyers one load of No. 1 English cross steers and bulls
weighing 432 at $79.83 and two loads of No. 1 and better
English and exotic cross heifers weighing 508 at $66.80;
to a local buyer 100 English and English-Brahman cross
cow-calf pairs at $540 f.o.b.
USDA reports 7700 head of feeder cattle selling direct
off Oklahoma range, including: for current delivery
medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 750-775 pounds at
$64.50-68, also 800-825 pounds at $64-68 and 850-875
pounds at $63.50-65; similar heifers weighing 680 pounds
at $66.50 and 725 pounds at $62.50.
Direct feeder cattle trade in Montana as confirmed by
USDA totaled 375 head. Medium and large No. 1 steers
weighing 900-925 pounds brought $65-66 and similar steers
weighing 875 pounds $63, all f.o.b. prices.
