Fred Speen of Ballinger this week sold a consignment of fat spring lambs weighing 85 pounds at $21 on the Fort Worth market through Texas Livestock Marketing Association.

Jack Gritzmaker of Clovis, New Mexico, recently bought 1550 lambs averaging 39 pounds at $12.50 cwt., from Walton Kothmann of Menard.

Cleves Jones of Sonora this week bought and shipped on order 150 mixed Angus calves weighing around 400 pounds at 17 and 20 cents on the heifers and steers, respectively. The calves were bought from Mac Cauthorn, Bill Wade and Jack Grafa, all of Sonora.
