MILANO —(Aug. 18)— Feeder steers sold steady to $3 higher with weights under 400 pounds $6-8 higher, heifers steady to $3 higher, weights under 500 pounds steady, slaughter cows steady, bulls steady. Receipts totaled 632 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $88-102.50, 400-500 lbs. $75-83, 500-600 lbs. $71-78, 600-700 lbs. $64.50-70.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $70-79, 400-500 lbs. $67-73, 500-600 lbs. $63-70, few $72-73, 600-700 lbs. $62-67, few $69-70.

Slaughter cows: boners 1000-1350 lbs. $31-34, high yielding $34.50-36.50, low yielding $27.50-30.50, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $30.50-33.50, 850-1000 lbs. $28-31, under 850 lbs. $24-28.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1250-1500 lbs. $41-45.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 850-1100 lbs. bred 4-6 months $38.50-46; medium and large 1-2 young 800-950 lb. cows with 150-300 lb. calves $510-630 per pair.
