Brown Cattle Co., Clyde, sold to a a local growing
yard one load of No. 1 and better English, English cross
and exotic cross steers and bulls weighing 358 pounds at
$88.69 to be backgrounded for fall wheat; to a Kansas
buyer three loads of black, black whiteface and red
whiteface steers and bulls weighing 458 at $82.01; to an
Oklahoma buyer one load of No. 1 and better English
steers weighing 584 at $73.51; to various northern states
two loads of No. 1 English cows with big calves at side
for $687.93 per pair delivered, also three loads of
English and English cross running age cows weighing 977
at $35.07 cwt. f.o.b.

off Oklahoma range, including: for current delivery
medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 540-575 pounds at
$72-76, also 675 pounds at $69, 725-775 pounds at $66-69,
800-825 pounds at $67-67.50, 850 pounds at $63.50-64, and
900 pounds at $62; similar heifers weighing 520 pounds at
$67-71, 625 pounds at $68, and 850 pounds at $62.50.
Direct feeder cattle trade in the Northwest as
confirmed by USDA totaled 10,150 head. Medium and large
No. 1 steers weighing 600 pounds brought $72 f.o.b.

and Idaho, 850 pounds $62 f.o.b. Idaho, 925-950 pounds

were $66.50-68 f.o.b. for November, one string weighing
