Prices Mostly Steady

COLORADO CITY —(Aug. 22)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady, some steers around 300 pounds $1-3 higher, slaughter cows firm, bulls steady, bred cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 845 head.

Feeder steers: 200-300 lbs. $80-106, 300-400 lbs. $77-93, 400-500 lbs. $71-90, 500-600 lbs. $67-74.50, 600-750 lbs. $64-67.75.

Feeder heifers: 200-300 lbs. $80-100, 300-400 lbs. $65-75, 400-500 lbs. $61-68, 500-600 lbs. $59-62.50, 600-750 lbs. $57.50-62.

Slaughter cows: all grades $25-39.75, bulls $43-49.75; bred stock cows $425-565 per head; young cows with calves $540-670 per pair.
