Goats Trade Higher

JUNCTION —(Aug. 24)— Feeder lambs sold $3 higher; stock Angora nannies fully steady, slaughter kids $5-8 higher, other slaughter Angoras mostly steady; slaughter Spanish nannies and billies $3-4 higher, other slaughter goats steady to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 1200 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 70-85 lbs. $70-75.

Angora goats: babytooth stock nannies 45-65 lbs. $35-40 cwt.; slaughter muttons and billies 80-100 lbs. $35-36, nannies 80-85 lbs. $30-34.50, kids 30-50 lbs. $50-65, thin nannies and muttons $17-27.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $55-65 cwt., yearlings 35-65 lbs. $65-77, nannies 70-110 lbs. $35-50, billies 80-185 lbs. $58-67.
