COLORADO CITY —(Aug. 29)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady, with 300 pound steers $3-5 higher, slaughter cows $1 lower, bulls steady, bred stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 804 head. Feeder steers: 200-300 lbs. $91-104, 300-400 lbs. $81-103, 400-500 lbs. $70-84.50, 500-600 lbs. $62-69.50, 600-750 lbs. $60-65. Feeder heifers: 200-300 lbs. $73-91, 300-400 lbs. $66-74.50, 400-500 lbs. $62-74.50, 500-600 lbs. $60-65.75, 600-750 lbs. $57-62.75. Slaughter cows: all grades $25-39.50; bulls $42-50.75; young bred stock cows $415-515 per head; young cows with calves $575-670 per pair, aged cows with calves $495-590. |
