LLANO —(Sept. 14)— The 39th annual "September Special" special cow sale at Llano Livestock Auction offered 1820 head including 251 pairs. Trade was active on choice long and medium bred cows and heifers, young pairs termed very active.

Medium and large No. 1 long bred heifers brought $550-700 per head, mostly $600-650, medium bred $525-700, mostly $550-600; bred cows $550-650 per head; cows with calves $600-975 per pair, mostly $650-750.
