Lamb Pelt Trading
Near Stagnation

DES MOINES, Iowa —(USDA)— Spot trading on the domestic lamb pelt market remains nearly inactive. Pelt buyers are showing almost no interest while waiting for the European market to settle.

Packers are selling only what is necessary and hoping for the market to settle near the mid-August price levels.

Early word from the Turkish trade show is negative for the world pelt markets.
