Junction Lambs Steady,
Goat Prices Decline

JUNCTION —(Sept. 28)— Feeder and slaughter lambs sold steady, slaughter ewes and bucks $3 lower; stock Angora goats $2-4 lower, slaughter Angoras $3-5 lower; slaughter Spanish goats $2 lower. Receipts totaled 9500 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 50-80 lbs. $68-73; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 90-110 lbs. $63-64, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $33-35, cull $23-24, bucks $27-28; Barbado lambs 45-55 lbs. $50-51 cwt., ewes 60-70 lbs. $32-44.

Angora goats: babytooth to solidmouth stock nannies 45-65 lbs. $28-38 cwt., muttons 50-75 lbs. $31-40, kids 25-40 lbs. $52-58; fat slaughter muttons 90-115 lbs. $37-40, nannies 70-85 lbs. $27-34, kids 30-60 lbs. $50-56, yearlings 44-70 lbs. $45-48, thin nannies and muttons $20-27.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 25-35 lbs. $60-65 cwt., yearlings 35-65 lbs. $62-72, good $50-58; fat nannies 75-95 lbs. $40-45, thin $25-39, muttons 75-115 lbs. $60-75, billies 100-165 lbs. $55-73; stock nannies $30-40 per head, Boer cross kids $45-70.
