GOLDTHWAITE —(Oct. 2)— Feeder lambs were steady, slaughter ewes and bucks steady, stocker Spanish nannies mostly steady; slaughter Spanish kids and muttons $2-4 higher, all other classes of slaughter Spanish goats steady; stocker Angora muttons steady, all classes of slaughter Angoras steady. Receipts totaled 4200 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 50-85 lbs. $65-75 cwt.; slaughter lambs 85-135 lbs. $52-65 cwt.; ewes, cull $22-26, utility 2-3 $30-32, good 2-3 $38-44; bucks $26-28 cwt.; Barbados, lambs 50-80 lbs. $47-53, ewes 70-80 lbs. $30-38, bucks 95-155 lbs. $36-45 cwt., Barbado ewes and lambs $14-17 per head. Angora goats: nannies 40-55 lbs. $30-35; muttons 70-80 lbs. $37-38.50 cwt.; fat muttons and billies 80-90 lbs., $35-36.50; kids 40-55 lbs. $52-61; thin nannies and muttons 20-28 cwt.
