Price Trends Mixed
GRAHAM (Oct. 5) Heifer calves and
yearlings were $1-2 lower, steer calves $1-2 higher on
better quality, plainer kinds steady, steer yearlings $1
lower, slaughter cows and bulls steady, $1 lower on
light, low-yielding cows, bred cows and pairs steady.
Receipts totaled 1635 head.
Feeder steers: 200-300 pounds $80-95, 300-400 pounds
$75-90, 400-500 pounds, $68-85, 500-600 pounds $64-74,
600-800 pounds $61-67.50.
Feeder heifers: 200-300 pounds $70-80, 300-400 pounds
$65-75, 400-500 pounds $58-65, 500-600 pounds $57-65,
600-800 pounds $53-63.
Slaughter cows: shelly cows $20-24, canners $26-29,
cutters $27-32.50, young bred cows $350-420 per head,
young pairs $475-575, older pairs $375-500.
