Junction Lambs Steady,
Goat Prices Higher

JUNCTION —(Oct. 5)— Feeder lambs were fully steady, slaughter ewes steady; stock Spanish nannies $3 higher, all classes of slaughter Spanish goats steady to $2 higher; stock Angora nannies and muttons $2 higher, slaughter Angora kids and yearlings $5-7 higher, all other classes of slaughter Angoras $1-2 lower. Receipts totaled 4650 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 45-55 lbs. $73-75.50, 60-85 lbs. $67-71; cull ewes $25-26.50, utility 2-3 $28-30, good 2-3 $34.50-36; Barbado lambs 50-70 lbs. $60-61.

Angora goats: babytooth to solidmouth nannies 50-70 lbs. $27-39 cwt., 70-95 lbs. $28-32; muttons 65-80 lbs. $37-44, fat muttons 85-95 lbs. $37-38; kids, 30-55 lbs. $57-66, in full hair 35-40 lbs. $66-71; yearlings 50-75 lbs. $45-53; thin nannies and muttons $19-27.

Spanish goats: nannies $31-46 per head; choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $60-69; yearlings 35-65 lbs. $63-70; fat nannies 80-110 lbs. $38-45, thin nannies $27-33; muttons 80-165 lbs. $60-81; billies 100-190 lbs. $61-76 cwt.
