COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Earning $10,000 in 40 seconds was just another day at the office for Brian Herman.

The bull rider from Victoria, Texas, bested all PRCA money earners in a phenomenal run of victories last week. He accumulated $10,250 on his way to his best ranking in the Crown Royal world bull riding standings this year.

The seven-year veteran shot from 26th to 15th in the world bull riding standings, making him a serious contender for a third National Finals Rodeo qualification.

In the all-around competition, Ty Murray, Stephenville, Texas, continues to lead with $171,425 in earnings for the year so far. Trevor Brazile, Decatur, Texas, is narrowing the gap somewhat, however; his winnings to date total $109,925.
