Superior Livestock Video Sale
Offering Totals 39,000 Cattle

FORT WORTH —(Oct. 4)— Superior Livestock Auction offered 39,000 head of calves, feeder cattle and breeding stock here at their regularly scheduled video auction. Consignments were from 26 states and Mexico.

Trade and demand were termed moderate as the market remained sluggish. Prices are f.o.b. based on net weights after a one to three percent shrink or equivalent, several loads weighed straight with a three to eight-cent slide on yearlings and a five to 10-cent slide on calves more than 10 pounds over base weights.

Prices varied widely, weigh-ups and health programs considered significant factors. Delivery is mostly immediate to January 15.
