Marcus Rudnick of Bakersfield, California, is reported to have bought, from the Babbitt Ranch, Flagstaff, Arizona, 1000 heifer yearlings at $13.75 and 1000 steer yearlings at $15.25, November 1-15 delivery.

Leo Lewis of Oklahoma City this week bought 400 steer calves and yearlings from Lusk and Bates of Carlsbad, New Mexico at $15 for November 5 delivery.

Stinson Martin of Dunlap, New Mexico, is reported to have sold around 400 mixed calves to an order buyer at Vega, Texas, for nearby delivery at $13.25 and $15.25.

Lyle Klinger of Laverne, Oklahoma, last week sold one load of steer calves for immediate delivery at 16 cents a pound.

The Norman Gross lambs, mixed fats and feeders, from Tatum, New Mexico, were delivered last weekend to Johnston & Shaw of Fort Worth. They averaged slightly over 86 pounds payweight and were bought at $14.50. Johnson & Shaw have bought about 20,000 New Mexico lambs this fall.

Brooks Pletcher of Perryton, Texas, sold 150 choice quality steer calves weighing 377 pounds at $36, Oct. 20-22 delivery, to Gale Rogers of Perryton.

Manuel Naranjo and Cecil Dellinger of Clayton, N.M., sold 93 wet cows (two with calves) three to seven years old at $225 per head to Jim Park, Chapham, N.M. for Oct. 24 delivery.

W.H. Taylor Estate is reported to have sold, off its ranch near Dumas, Texas, 673 steer yearlings weighing 733 pounds at $26, delivered Oct. 6 to a Kansas buyer.

Carl Lewis of Artesia, N.M., recently delivered 1225 crossbred blackface feeder lambs averaging 96½ pounds at $22 to Max Riley, Roswell order buyer.

A. Stewart MacArthur of Wagon Mound, N.M., delivered 1275 light feeder lambs averaging 65 pounds at $16 to Richard Nashland of Eaton, Colo. MacArthur will ship about 10,000 lambs from the Wagon Mound area right away at a cost of around $15 cwt.

Ernest Langenegger & Sons of Hagerman, N.M., sold 200 choice fed heifers averaging 850 pounds to Peyton Packing Co. of El Paso at $23.

Gilford Nolan of Dalhart sold one load of heifer and steer calves weighing 380 at $26 and $28 to E.S. Roper of Dalhart.

Wayne Yocum of Hereford bought for Wilson & Co., Oklahoma City, a pen of standard to good heifers averaging 950 pounds from Friona Feedyards at $20.90.

At San Angelo, Raymond McCutchen has 17,000 lambs in drylot now and is having no trouble marketing the fats; he sold 2300 head this week to Armour here.

Wayne Jackson, San Jon, N.M., sold 80 mixed breed steers weighing 535 pounds at $25.50 to a local wheat grazier.

Swift & Co. has bought about 900 pasture fat lambs in the Sweetwater-Coleman area at $24.50-25.50, varying by quality and pelt.

Asa Howard, Guymon, Okla., bought for Master Cattle Co., Hooker, Okla., 112 Hereford steers weighing 700 at $24 for delivery near Wichita Falls, Texas.

Northwest Feed Yards, Buffalo, Okla., sold 313 steers weighing 1100, grading 85 percent choice, at $26.65 to an Oklahoma packer.

The Texas Animal Health Commission reports 28,733 cattle entered Texas from Mexico during September. Shipments from Texas to other states totaled 182,952 head while cattle coming in from other states numbered 193,885 head.

Ranchman's Wool and Mohair, Brownwood, sold a carload at $1.60. West Texas Wool and Mohair Assn., Mertzon, sold about 18,000 pounds of fall adult, the better end at $1.65, the average hair at $1.60.
