Lower, Cattle Higher
SAN ANGELO Feeder lambs sold $1-2 lower this
week, slaughter lambs poorly tested and slaughter ewes
weak to $1 lower. Receipts totaled 14,123 head and
included 45 percent slaughter ewes, 20 percent feeder
lambs and the balance goats.
Feeder steers and heifers sold firm to $2 higher last
week, slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady. Receipts
totaled 8891 head including 3722 feeder cattle at
Mondays special feeder sale.
