SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold $1-2 lower this week, slaughter lambs poorly tested and slaughter ewes weak to $1 lower. Receipts totaled 14,123 head and included 45 percent slaughter ewes, 20 percent feeder lambs and the balance goats.

Feeder steers and heifers sold firm to $2 higher last week, slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady. Receipts totaled 8891 head including 3722 feeder cattle at Monday’s special feeder sale.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $68.50-71, 60-70 lbs. $67-72.50, 70-80 lbs. $67-71, 80-90 lbs. $66-68, 90-105 lbs. $64.50-67.50; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $60-68, 60-90 lbs. $60-67.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 100-125 lbs. $65-69, set 135 lbs. $72; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $27-34, utility and good 1-3 $31-41, utility 1-2 $21-31, cull and utility 1-2 $15.50-22, bucks $27-34.

Stock ewes: medium and large 1-2 yearlings $64 per head, babytooth ewes $56.

Goats: slaughter billy and wether meat goats 100-150 lbs. $50-95 per head, 150-205 lbs. $95-125; nannies 70-110 lbs. $41-50 cwt., thin 60-90 lbs. $31-41, choice and prime kids and yearlings 40-60 lbs. $70-74, 60-85 lbs. $72-78, choice 40-80 lbs. $60-69, good 40-90 lbs. $50-60; choice Angoras 80-120 lbs. $30-35.50 cwt., good 60-80 lbs. $18-26, choice kids 35-65 lbs. $56.50-62.50; stock meat goat nannies 70-130 lbs. $50-55 per head.
