Junction High-Dollar
Calf Sale $1-3 Better

JUNCTION —(Oct. 9)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-3 higher at the special High-Dollar calf and yearling sale, slaughter cows and bulls steady to $1 higher, stock cows steady. Receipts totaled 417 head.

Show winners included:

Pen of five steer calves: 1. Mike Gosney, Junction, five Angus, 572 lbs. $70.75; 2. Tom Johnston, Junction, five black whiteface, 624 lbs. $62.50; 3. Bill Gosney, Junction, seven black and black whiteface, 582 lbs. $66; 4. Perry Bushong, Mountain Home, five Brangus, 585 lbs. $63.50; 5. Bill Gosney, Junction, eight black and black whiteface, 519 lbs. $62.

Pen of 10 steer calves: 1. Mike Gosney, 16 Angus, 600 lbs. $67.50; 2. Ruth and Patti Beall Morriss, Mountain Home, 10 Beefmaster, 582 lbs. $64; 3. Ruth and Patti Beall Morriss, 13 Beefmaster, 497 lbs. $65.

Pen of five heifer calves: 1. Perry Bushong, five Brangus, 663 lbs. $58; 2. Marie Murr, Junction, five Angus, 604 lbs. $56; 3. Perry Bushong, five Brangus, 550 lbs. $58.25; 4. Bill Gosney, seven black and black whiteface, 556 lbs. $57; 5. John Grimes, Kerrville, five Charolais cross, 499 lbs. $60.

Pen of five heifer yearlings: 1. Delivan Chadwick, Junction, five Angus, 792 lbs. $56.
